Ukraine – The Same In 2022 As It Was In 2014

People do have memories. I know they do. I hear them speak on talk shows, read their stories, and see their artwork. People remember pain and things which strike them as unusual. I cannot tell you what I ate for breakfast nor about most of the time I spent at work because nothing memorable happened. I forget what I’ve read sometimes. I forget what I have written about sometimes. But I was thinking over the last couple of days, recalling the fiasco that occurred in Ukraine in 2014. That Ukraine hasn’t really changed should be something we should all be able to recall.

Will Diesel Run Out?

I have never taken a course in economics. It is possible that due to my non-existent official education in the subject the basics come very east to me. Let’s say there are 50,000 people looking to buy an item which there are only 500. I can charge, basically, whatever I want. If the number of the product goes up, and I have competitors, I am going to want to look at what competitors are charging and adjust my price accordingly. It my competitors are charging $100 for the item and my product isn’t quite as good, I may choose to charge $90, if my version is superior I may charge $125. Low supply and high demand drive prices higher – high supply and low to medium demand will drive prices lower. It really is that simple.

The Danger of Ballot Measures

I think everyone in the United States, as well as most of the world, is aware that there is a midterm election coming up. Not only are the political races crucially important, there are some ballot measures gaining national prominence as well. Those gaining national prominence are the propositions which allow baby murder to be added as a ‘right’ added to state constitutions and firearms restrictions and/or bans. The reason for this is because the psychopaths who want to murder babies and destroy everyone’s legal ability to own firearms know that if normal legislation would be voted on, the politicians voting for the laws would be politically attacked and summarily dismissed at the next election. With these two topics – ‘abortion’ and firearms restrictions – the politicians know that using the ‘people’ as endorsement tools is the only politically viable way to enact those measures.

Who is David DePape?

Whatever DePape is, he is not a God fearing individual. Because he has no fear of God, he is morally challenged. On ‘his’ blog site, there are hundreds of posts about every narrative the misinformation Nazi’s hate. The earliest post is dated August 23, 2022 and titled Mary Poppins. The two-month-old post was updated two days ago. This is not an easy post to arrive at – it takes ten minutes or so to click all the way to the bottom. I wonder what exactly was edited from this post. That mystery, as well as exactly who this Depape guy really is, seems to be a mystery fit to peg his beliefs to whatever political party one wishes to demonize.

What if Jim Jones Had National Power?

Charisma and charm can get people places in this world. Too many do not actually test the claims people make. They don’t test the fruits of their leaders nor do they seem to want to put in the work to find the fruits of these people. One man, Jim Jones, fits this description very well. But what if, instead of leading a cult of over 900, Jim Jones was placed into, or elected to, a position of official authority?

Who Should Get to Vote

Who Should Get to Vote

Right now, pretty much everyone 18 years old and older, with several exceptions, are legally able to vote. Depending on who you ask, some people can even vote dozens or hundreds of times because that is what the deceased wish for. Well, there are ways to fix that, but those have been covered. What I want to explore are ways to fix this who voting thing once and for all.

Messiah

In this piece I will undoubtedly have something to say which you will disagree with. I hope that there is more we can agree on than disagree about. This article is about my coming to faith, God and Messiah, and my understanding of the Bible which is always growing more in depth.

Nuclear Climate Change Mitigation

Not since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 and the false alarm incident in 1983 has the world stood in awe of the stupidity of world powers and their threats of using nuclear weapons upon their enemies populations. Those players are NATO and the United States versus Russia and to a lesser extent China. Ecoterrorists (the climate change is man-made believers) have found it prudent to suggest that a nuclear war would be beneficial to mitigate climate change. Blow up enough nuclear bombs in the atmosphere, cause a nuclear winter, lower the temperature of the globe is their thought. What would happen during and after that plan should it come to fruition?

The Global Methane Pledge

On October 22, 2022 the Australian government signed the Global Methane Pledge, bringing the total number of nations and political entities which have done so to 123. In a tweet, the Australian climate minister, Chris Bowen, said that monetary penalties will not be imposed on livestock ranchers. In the same tweet Bowen promised $8 million to get seaweed introduced into livestock feed and another $5 million to developing low-methane-emission supplements. What Bowen and his boss, prime minister Anthony Albanese, are going to end up doing is having to order ranchers to wholesale slaughter livestock to reduce agricultural releases of methane, but that’s the quiet part which no one is supposed to say.
